Good intentions rarely survive a real disclosure.
Most organizations want to help. But a policy in a binder isn’t the same as a manager who knows what to say, a protocol that protects privacy, or a culture where disclosure feels safe. The Safe Place Program closes that gap — turning intention into a system that holds up when it matters most.

Not a checklist. An integrated framework.
Each component stands on its own — and none works alone. Together they form a single standard for what a survivor-supportive workplace requires.

A Formal Recognition of Your Commitment to End Domestic Abuse in the Workplace
The Safe Place Program is designed to be adopted as a whole. The components reinforce one another — policy gives training its teeth, protocol makes confidentiality real, and review keeps all of it alive. It is a framework, not a folder of resources. We are the only US organization offering this valuable accreditation program, and it’s available to Alliance members.
